Character: Poison Ivy
Event Link: Holiday Freebie
Request: Energy Ball (Based upon the move of the same name in Pokémon)
- Ivy draws power from the nature around her and shoots it at her target. It takes the form of a glowing orb of light in various shades of green.
- If allowed to form properly, this attack can be very powerful and a successful hit can on a rare occasion also sap a small amount of energy from its target, leaving them vulnerable to another attack for a short period of time. (This period of time should not exceed 1 minute to keep things balanced and fair.)
- The orb is a formation of pure energy so 'explodes' on contact with a target. If the orb doesn't meet any sort of target, it begins to shrink in size until finally fading away, dispersing the energy harmlessly.
Limitations:
- Ivy's never had an attack like this before so likelihood is that she will need to practise on forming the orbs first. Initially, she will make small balls of energy (tennis ball sized) that will fade away shortly after launching them. Practise will take time (a least a month of daily practise) and will be draining. Once she finally masters making an orb of the proper size (around the size of a grapefruit) she'll most likely be limited to one a day, then with more practise and determination I would cap it at twice a day.
- Only fully formed orbs will hold their shape long enough to be used as an attack. So, Ivy can't cheat and make 5 or 6 smaller ones to throw at a target instead of one large one.
- Since it's not Ivy's power being used but the energy of that around her, one use shouldn't be too draining, however, I would think it rather difficult to control and form that energy without expending some yourself. As such, it is physically spending enough for Ivy to know innately that using it twice in a day would most certainly be tiring enough to make her breathless and shaky, effectively ending her part in any fight afterwards.
- As for the draining energy part mentioned earlier, to not make this over powered and keeping in line with the original move, this can only happen on every tenth use of the attack, if at all. Again, it's a rare, chance based circumstance.

Let me know if there's any tweaks I should make. Translating this move into text was hard. XD;;
