Power Requests

After events, players may use their event participation to either gain a new power, an upgrade to a pre-existing power or a small item from home. To get either of these things, players most post a comment to this page using the form below, specifying what they want. A mod will either approve it, or work with the player to make the power work if there are any problems with it.

<b>Character:</b> <b>Event Link:</b> you MUST have a link to at least one piece of event participation <b>Request:</b> describe the power, upgrade or item here. More description may be requested if necessary.

You can also use participation from two separate events to retcon a power you already have but no longer want (for whatever reason). Please use the following form for power retcons.

<b>Character:</b> <b>Event Link 1:</b> you must have a link to at least one piece of event participation <b>Event Link 2:</b> this second link has to be from a different event entirely <b>Old Power:</b> what was the old power? <b>New Power:</b> describe the new power

While a small item only requires one event, bigger items will require more. Please consult the mods about bigger items and we will tell you how much you will need to save.

Event Link: Mission at the Observatory: Poking around and making progress.
Request: Let's try giving her some Healing Mists -- a glittery, purple-toned mist that's strikingly cold. It tends to first form around her hands, making her touch feel like ice, and when working on an injury, pain tends to be replaced by a growing numbness. In cases of more serious injury, the patient may feel as if their skin is freezing over -- maybe even small patches of violet-hued ice may appear, trying to cover those wounds like a makeshift cast? Or is that a step too far and best saved for an upgrade?

Anyway, point of this is to kind of force her to step out into the limelight more, because more healers are always in demand...

Before we approved this power request, we would like a little clarity on what the healing mists are intended to do. Are they simply a numbing agent or can they be used to actually heal injuries?

Well, my idea was that they can be used to heal; the coldness/numbness are just sensory details. Something the target has to endure while the actual healing effect kicks in.

To begin with, Velvet will be able to heal minor injuries and will be able to upgrade to more serious healing with further upgrades.
