Power Requests

After events, players may use their event participation to either gain a new power, an upgrade to a pre-existing power or a small item from home. To get either of these things, players most post a comment to this page using the form below, specifying what they want. A mod will either approve it, or work with the player to make the power work if there are any problems with it.

<b>Character:</b> <b>Event Link:</b> you MUST have a link to at least one piece of event participation <b>Request:</b> describe the power, upgrade or item here. More description may be requested if necessary.

You can also use participation from two separate events to retcon a power you already have but no longer want (for whatever reason). Please use the following form for power retcons.

While a small item only requires one event, bigger items will require more. Please consult the mods about bigger items and we will tell you how much you will need to save.

Character: Ichigo
Event Link: Power Retcon
Request: Ichigo previously gained Weapon Summoning: Folding Fans through the July Event; however, that's now considered a default ability. I guess her size-shifting might also count as shape-shifting, but eh. For her retcon, I'd like to give her an upgrade to said fans: Flaming Fans, aka the ability to set them on/convert them to magical flames, same as the flames she creates through her Pyrokinesis.

Request: Solid Light Trails/Ribbons -- When flying, Ichigo tends to leave trails of color in her wake. Activating this power allows her to convert these into actual ribbons of light. These ribbons do not harm whatever touches them; this is more of a defensive ability which could primarily be used akin to a length of rope, or cord. She can only keep up to a certain length 'solidified' at any given time -- the longer it is, the harder it is for her to keep stable. That goes double for if she's attempting to use it to bind anything, such as trying to hold a target down. The shorter and thicker the length of ribbon she's working with and the less the target's struggling, the easier time she's going to have maintaining it.

Request: Flight -- Because all she wants for Christmas is her preferred method of transportation back.

Unfortunately, Ichigo is not eligible for the free retcon. The retcon was an option for players who would otherwise be left with very few powers (one or two) because of the new defaults. According to Ichigo's powerlist, even if we were to count size-shifting as shape shifting she would still have five other powers, therefore she can only get one new power this holiday.

The rest are all approved though! If you would like to switch the Trails/Ribbons for the weapon upgrade, please let us know.
