Power Requests

After events, players may use their event participation to either gain a new power, an upgrade to a pre-existing power or a small item from home. To get either of these things, players most post a comment to this page using the form below, specifying what they want. A mod will either approve it, or work with the player to make the power work if there are any problems with it.

<b>Character:</b> <b>Event Link:</b> you MUST have a link to at least one piece of event participation <b>Request:</b> describe the power, upgrade or item here. More description may be requested if necessary.

You can also use participation from two separate events to retcon a power you already have but no longer want (for whatever reason). Please use the following form for power retcons.

While a small item only requires one event, bigger items will require more. Please consult the mods about bigger items and we will tell you how much you will need to save.

RETCON + NEW POWER

Old Power: Her acceptance power was Shapeshifting, which is now a freebie, so I'd like to see if she could get...
New Power: Alchemization - standard adapt-powers-from-canon option except in this case 'canon' is the canon her previous game was based off. This power will allow her to 'alchemize' two or more items (Possibly by shoving them into her gem???) which results in the creation of a new item with either qualities of both, or qualities of X and appearance of Y.

Now the canon version doesn't use up the original items, but it can in Cosmo if that is a limit that should be imposed for the purpose of this not doubling as an item duplication ability. I'll also accept any other limits needed!

New Power I WANNA GIVE HER Music-based minor time manipulation powers that basically impose rhythm game mechanics on her fights: basically, if (and only if) SONiKA has music going (whether singing or from her speakers or random christmas music in the square), attacks from either her or her opponent must land in time with the rhythm/beat/what have you of the music; otherwise, they'll freeze in place long enough to be easily dodged and/or simply not do any damage, whichever seems best (I like the idea of brief freezes in time as punishment for not "keeping time" but if that's too OP then no damage works)

Fair enough! I had a general idea of how threads like that could go but it IS pretty unusual as requests go. Physical strength isn't something I'm after though since she prefers ranged fighting. Could I get a general increase in speed instead? Faster sprinting, quicker reflexes, get in more attacks than usual, etc.
