Power Requests

After events, players may use their event participation to either gain a new power, an upgrade to a pre-existing power or a small item from home. To get either of these things, players most post a comment to this page using the form below, specifying what they want. A mod will either approve it, or work with the player to make the power work if there are any problems with it.

You can also use participation from two separate events to retcon a power you already have but no longer want (for whatever reason). Please use the following form for power retcons.

While a small item only requires one event, bigger items will require more. Please consult the mods about bigger items and we will tell you how much you will need to save.

Request: Exploding plushie generation. Generates one (1) random Pokemon plushie when used that can be thrown and explodes on contact. Explosion itself is small and likely to just hurt like a mother but not cause any permanent damage if you get caught in it, but has a knockback of several (maybe 10-15) feet.

Plushies themselves are fairly small, about the size of a grapefruit or so.

Specifically, Pokey can phase through objects and walls. He does this by, due to being an A.I., essentially 'glitching out'. It should be noted that he can only phase through objects and walls, cannot phase into another Gem's room in the Temple, and cannot use this defensively and phase through attacks (though this might be an update in the future).

He also will be struggling with it for a little bit, as he simply won't have immediate control over it when its first gained.

Request: Beginner level Pyromancy - Ford will have the ability to summon small balls of flame at will, from his palms. He will have a small amount of control over said flames - enough to throw them or turn them into fun shapes - but he can't make them increase in size or intensity, or really do much else with them. In that same vein, Ford will be immune to the damage his own fire creates, however, he will still be quite vulnerable to fire/heat from other sources - which is a good thing, because otherwise he wouldn't be able to use his preferred method of shaving.

Request: Shadow Upgrade. His beloved little blob babies can now transmogrify into their own unique creatures. So basically they're actual shadows now and not just blobs. This includes stuff like the lions and the snakes. No additional powers come with this (like no spells) and is mostly aesthetic. It's also locked in stone which shadow becomes what. One that becomes a lion can't suddenly decide later to become a snake. It can only be done to five (out of his allowed ten) shadows at once.

Request: Gem Sight upgrade. Currently, Kaneki can see the "aura" of gems and gem monsters through his gem eye. The sight works through objects at a limited distance.

With this upgrade, Kaneki will be able to pinpoint specific auras and see paths left behind by them that can be tracked. The path of a gem's aura only lasts for one hour before fading and becoming undetectable again. Kaneki can also see auras through objects at a slightly longer distance.

Request: 'Mirror Mirror' power: By closing the eye associated with a particular clone, Reira can see through the eyes of that clone (so naturally that's a limit of 2). If he's closing both eyes, his gem will act as the 'eye' for himself, so he won't be totally blind to his surroundings. (Probably very disoriented though, oh dear) This naturally means the clones are going to be more inclined to leave his vicinity given the right order.

Request: 'Photo-Memory' power: Using a blank piece of card or paper, Reira can infuse it with energy to show the image of something, someone, or some place; the larger or more complex the target gets however, the fuzzier the image. (I'm not quite sure what a good limit here would be however, and I'd appreciate some advice!) This is a stationary image, of course (and not something he can do without seeing it at least once before).

Request: Curse Manipulation - By saying the phrase 'Cataclysm', Adrien's gem absorbs misfortune into his gem to give himself a status boost. Of course, holding onto this power too long can have negative effects on Adrien either physically, mentally, or emotionally making it unwise to use too often, or use for too long. Such energy will either leak off naturally, or Adrien can put it into one final attack which can heavily damage whatever one thing it comes in contact with except for gems themselves ala Sectumsempra with lingering side effects on himself depending on how long he's held onto the energy.

Request: Summon Bindings - From the same generic gem energy that forms summoned weapons, Walter can create long filaments resembling ropes or chains, or nets made of such. These are formed around a target, or around a target at one end and in his hand in the other, and can be used to restrain enemy movement or pull objects from a distance. At its first "level" of mastery, the bindings are about as strong as average store-bought rope, and have a range of about 100 feet.

Request: Mystery Globes: Perfume Bombs -- In this form, a Mystery Globe manifests a thin, translucent glass shell which is heavily faceted and tinted a rich shade of purple. Through the glass, one can see liquid sloshing about.

Upon impact, the shell breaks; while the shards may inflict some minor damage, they actually dissipate rather quickly, melting away as though made of ice rather than sticking around. This is because it serves primarily as a vessel for its contents: a globe's worth of strongly scented floral perfume.

Request: Limited Dreamwalking. Allows Asriel to go into the dreams of his fellow Gems while he sleeps. Requires player opt-in, limited to one use per month and three dreams per use. If a dreamwalking post is up, only the first three commenters will have him visit. He can only see and know what is going on in the dream, and cannot take memories or information from the dreamers' subconscious. If he or the dreamer wakes, it breaks the connection.
