Power Requests

After events, players may use their event participation to either gain a new power, an upgrade to a pre-existing power or a small item from home. To get either of these things, players most post a comment to this page using the form below, specifying what they want. A mod will either approve it, or work with the player to make the power work if there are any problems with it.

You can also use participation from two separate events to retcon a power you already have but no longer want (for whatever reason). Please use the following form for power retcons.

Request: Hammerspace. Kaneki will gain the ability to store a limited amount of items inside of his gem that can be removed at any time. Items within reason, of course. No cars or refrigerators inside of his head, please.

As for how many items he can store, does 10-15 max sound reasonable? I can make it less if not, otherwise the item limit could be upped with future upgrades.

The limit you've suggested is fine! However, previous hammerspace powers have had no upper limits placed on the amount of items that can be carried, but do have a limit on size -- hammerspaces can only contain items up to the Gem's own waist in size.

Let us know if you'd prefer to go with your own limits placed or with the previously established limit for this type of power.

Request: Upgrade to Rise's role change ability, allowing her to shapeshift into a "Summer Fairy" form. Complete with a cute summery outfit and temporary access to "sunlight" powers! Basically all she can do is create an aura of soft light and warmth around herself, or use that same aura to create more localized heat with her hands. Can probably be applied as an energy blast projectile, but would be fairly weak as an attack. At most, she can go up to uncomfortable summer heat levels, not anything further.

Request: Tier 2 magic bones: he can summon up to 15 classic femur-style bones from the air, long or short. They move at his command without use of his Telekinesis. Can form sharp, tapered ends.

Request: Copy-pasting from my flop on the refine reward

Time for Reira to be able to use his glove more!

At the moment, Reira's weapon is glove that duplicates the weapons of those he's currently copying or negating-to a weaker extent, mind, and without prior experience with the weapon.

For the upgrade, let's widen the range of copy potential!

I would like for Reira to be able to briefly copy from materials in the area to create a weapon; his limitations are the following:

First, it has to be the stuff in the area, so the chances of creating something that extends or spits fire or anything like that is nil.

Second, he needs to consciously decide what those materials will form. So if he's grabbing from stones and vines, he has to figure out what those things would form on his own.

Third, this doesn't work with living animals. ...Mostly. It might make the weapon look kinda cool but that's it.

And last of all, the time limit! Each weapon has a limit of an hour; and he can only form one at a time. He also, for obvious reasons, can't do this at all if he already has someone else copied or negated-since he should have access to those weapons instead by that point!

Basically this is a fancy way of making it possible for Reira to be able to do something without having to copy someone first.

Request: I'd like to add Heat Generation to her Sun's Warmth: Heat Resistance ability. With this, Ichigo will be able to exude warmth -- not nearly enough to actually burn anything or anybody, but noticably warmer than normal. Though with her heat resistance, Ichigo herself likely won't notice the fluxes right away, and getting it under control could prove interesting...

Request: Let's try giving her some Healing Mists -- a glittery, purple-toned mist that's strikingly cold. It tends to first form around her hands, making her touch feel like ice, and when working on an injury, pain tends to be replaced by a growing numbness. In cases of more serious injury, the patient may feel as if their skin is freezing over -- maybe even small patches of violet-hued ice may appear, trying to cover those wounds like a makeshift cast? Or is that a step too far and best saved for an upgrade?

Anyway, point of this is to kind of force her to step out into the limelight more, because more healers are always in demand...

Request: I would like to give Yang her motorcycle, "Bumblebee" as an item regain. I was told it'd take three events to earn back but let me know if that's changed and/or if she needs more because I do have event participation from July that I could use as well if needed!

Also in canon, I think her bike probably uses Dust as a power source and fuel much like everything else in her world, but would it be possible that, when brought here, it could simply run on the energy of her gem instead? That way, it'd still have a limited fuel source in that it'll run low when she does but wouldn't have to be modified too much to run on fossil fuels or electricity.

Allows Minato to channel his bonds and connections with others into a single, powerful attack. Friends and allies in the vicinity can help power it up, but should he have any strained relationships, it becomes ineffective. Cannot harm anyone he considers a friend, and, in keeping with tradition, cannot be used at the start of a fight.

The attack must also be delivered from the air, because it looks cool.

Request: Swirling Wind. Generates wind in a cylindrical manner for a brief period of time (or in a more spherical manner while she's airborne). It can definitely fling small objects around but is probably not going to be terribly damaging against something that gets caught in it. Upgrades would probably be meant to adjust range and increase the length of time it can be sustained as opposed to making the winds stronger. This might be more effective on Saturdays.

For obvious reasons, this will have zero effect on her fellow Gems' uh, gems and similarly won't effect any kind of funky Gem homeworld material. To start with, Honoka will be able be able to shoot small needles of crystal from the palm of her hand, like really small really crap darts.

Request: Magical Girl Transformation - When touching her Gem with the intent to transform, Honoka will go through a PRETTY SPARKLY transformation and come out the other end with a fancy new outfit and a slight buff to her abilities -- she'll be a little faster, a little stronger and sturdier and she'll be able to focus whatever her other powers are with more ease. To start with, Honoka will only be able to sustain her transformation for five minutes at a time before she changes back.
